Fresh
Water Foundation is a social initiative that works to tackle the clean water
crisis and empower socially vulnerable communities in Bangladesh, especially in
coastal areas. Our journey began in 2021, amidst the challenges of the COVID-19
pandemic, which highlighted the vulnerabilities faced by these communities.
Witnessing this marginalization, we felt compelled to take action.
With a specific focus on research based
development, we basically design and implement innovative and non-traditional
projects that create impact on millions. We believe that by understanding the
challenges faced by marginalized groups, we can develop more effective
interventions. As a social initiative, our approach is threefold: Assessment,
Action and Empowerment. Along with it, we're committed to advocating for change
at the policy level. Through engaging with various stakeholders and
participating in policy dialogues, we try to amplify the voices of marginalized
communities and influence decision-making processes in Bangladesh. Here, we're
more than just an organization; we're a community of passionate individuals
dedicated to creating a brighter, more equitable future for all. And we believe
that only effective social actions can ensure this ‘equitable future’ for all
of us.
