International
Institute of Law and Diplomacy (IILD) has recently initiated a new project
aimed at reshaping the foreign policy of Bangladesh in response to evolving
global and regional dynamics. As part of this initiative, an in-house discussion
was held to explore strategic approaches for reorienting the country's foreign
policy priorities.
Md. Ataur Rahman
Talukder, Assistant Professor of International Relations at the Bangladesh
University of Professionals, delivered an insightful talk on the critical areas
requiring reform and outlined practical pathways for recalibrating Bangladesh’s
foreign policy to better align with national interests and global realities.
This discussion marks the
beginning of a series of engagements under the project, through which IILD
seeks to contribute to informed, research-driven, and forward-looking foreign
policy discourse in Bangladesh.
