Mission

To reimagine policy from the ground up, rooted in justice, powered by youth, and shaped by dialogue

Vision

A progressive, democratic society that is based on accountability, equity and good governance.

Overview

The International Institute of Law and Diplomacy (IILD) is a youth-led think tank shaped by a simple belief: policies should reflect people; their realities, their voices, and their hopes for a better future.

In Bangladesh, where many decisions are often made far from the lives they affect, IILD works to close that distance. We listen, we engage, and we bring those everyday experiences into conversations that matter. Our goal is both to study problems and to understand them from the ground up, to help shape solutions that feel real, fair, and inclusive.

Our work spans four interconnected areas: Diplomacy and International Relations, Security and Counterterrorism, Governance and Development, and Law and Justice. Through research, open dialogue, and community engagement, we create spaces where young people, citizens, and decision-makers can come together; not as opponents, but as partners.
